Please be aware that the use of re-spots on killed ends has been introduced.
If the jack passes outside the boundaries of the rink of play or rebounds
to a distance of less than 20 metres from the mat line the jack shall be
re-spotted. If the jack passes outside the side boundary it must be
placed on the pre-arranged spot (1.5 metres from the centre line) on the
side that it left the rink.
Note: This rule only applies to an end in play and not to a jack being
cast to start an end.
If a bowl is on the re-spot, the jack is to be placed as near as possible
to the bowl without touching it, between the spot and centre of the rink.
If any other bowls are in the way the jack is to be placed directly between
the 2 spots without touching a bowl.

The following rule changes were approved: Rationale – New league replacing the Ladies’ Tuesday Afternoon Triples League.
Replace rule 12 with – Open Tuesday Afternoon Triples League.
a) Teams may comprise any mix of men or lady members.
b) There are no restrictions on reserves, except they must be registered with
the Club League Secretary and not be registered members of other teams.
c) Games will normally be played on a Tuesday, but the Club League Secretary
reserves the right to schedule games on other days.
Rationale – As the late session is not required this season the Open Australian Pairs, Men’s Triples and Pairs will play the full 16 ends. This will be reviewed annually once all team entries are received. These leagues will continue to start at 6.30pm
Add to rules 2, 7 & 11:
b) Games will be played over 16 ends.
c) Length of game will be reviewed annually once all team entries are received.
